The 2015 Virginia Governor's One Shot Turkey Hunt
Hunters and outdoor enthusiasts from all over are invited to attend the First Annual Virginia Governor's One Shot Turkey Hunt to be based out of beautiful Richmond, Virginia, on April 17 and 18, 2015. The Wildlife Foundation of Virginia (WFV) and The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF) invite you to join us for this inaugural affair celebrating turkeys, turkey hunting, and a shared passion for Virginia's great sporting heritage.
The event will kick off Friday evening at the new VDGIF Headquarters located at 7870 Villa Park Drive in Richmond, with hunters and guides pairing up and planning their strategy. Hunters and their guides will hunt until noon on Saturday in spectacular locations throughout Virginia, looking to walk away with an award-winning gobbler. We'll cap the festivities on Saturday night with dinner, music, and auction in downtown Richmond at the NewMarket Pavilion, 330 South Fourth Street in Richmond.
