As a way to instill in future
generations a respect and love for our wildlife resources, WFV has
hosted several youth hunts and hunting workshops, most of which are
held on
Fulfillment Farms in Albemarle County. The future of Virginia's
natural resources is in the hands of our children and grandchildren,
and we are committed to expanding our youth programs to fulfill our
mission. Please
contact us
if you would like to be on our mailing list for upcoming youth and
women's hunts, or are interested in lending a hand.

From a Young Hunter To WFV
Chairman Brad Jones:
Dear Mr. Jones,
I want to thank you for the best
hunting experience of my life. December 31 will
always be memorable to me. It was not only my
first deer, but also a great New Year's Eve.
I can't think of a better way to finish off 2002 and the
hunting season.
My mom and I really appreciate
your hospitality. Your home is the best. I
love hunting. You taught me more in two days about
hunting, dressing and nature than I learned in a
lifetime. This was a tremendous adventure for
me. I am truly grateful to you and your
family. We
ate the turkey when we got home. Mom cooked it slowly
and with spices. It was so delicious. Last night we had
venison spaghetti. There were no leftovers.
I am enclosing some photos for you
to enjoy. Thank you again Mr. Jones for all the
memories. | |
